TrueGreece stemmed from a constantly repeated question: "Christos, I am thinking of visiting Greece. Where should I go?"
The answer came very naturally to Christos Stergiou, the President and CEO of TrueGreece. Growing up on the island of Patmos, Christos was able to familiarize himself with Greek hospitality first hand and acquire intimate knowledge of the Greek islands. Under the experienced wing of his parents, who own and run one of the best boutique hotels on Patmos, Christos learnt the true meaning of providing an authentic, personalized, and luxurious travel experience.
Christos moved to the US to obtain a degree in Economics from Brandeis University, and after working at Charles River Associates Inc. he earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business. It was at this point that Christos realized that through his knowledge of the Greek islands and the Greek mainland he could offer an authentic and luxurious experience that would allow guests to live the true Greece. With his fellow graduate of Stanford Business School, Ben Rowe, TrueGreece evolved into a professional and innovative luxury travel company, with a core team that was willing and eager to share their love of Greece.
